Finding RSS icons on the homepage of a website is less common than it used to be, so if you don't see it, you can perform a web search, such as "Insider RSS feed." Find the page and copy the link. It will look like waves, similar to a Wi-Fi icon. Under Web Parts, select the RSS Viewer web part, and then select Add (Find the button over to the right in a site configured for left-to-right languages). Some websites place an RSS link on their homepage - look for it at the very top (in the header of the site) or at the bottom in the footer. You'll need to know the URL to the RSS feed for the website you want to subscribe to. you can create a web page to display the parsed feed content. Trying to find a good solution for this now, I happened upon the FeedEk jQuery RSS/ATOM Feed Plugin that does a great job of parsing and displaying RSS and Atom feeds via the jQuery Feed API.
